The Amalfi Coast runs 50km (30 mi) along the southern side of the Sorrentine peninsula in Italy. It is all pastel hillsides and shallows. From the stunning cliffside views of Positano to Ravello's palatial villas, it's summer romance at its best. You'll also find some of the finest seafood you will ever eat.

The Amalfi Coast was once home to isolated fishing villages and farming communities that were hidden from the public eye. You can now see the Amalfi Coast, which runs from Sorrento through Amalfi, with its limestone cliffs and cobbled villages, and clear waters. Culture Trip's 10-day Southern Italy trip is curated by our Local Insider.

The area's natural beauty and rugged shoreline are stunning. But there is so much more. Positano is known for its pastel-coloured panache, beach glamour and dazzling beaches. Ravello's villa gardens are filled with fragrant flora. The region's seafood and lemons are used in a variety of cuisines. There's fascinating history everywhere.

Ravello's Villa Rufolo is a beautiful place to visit

One of the best things about time in Ravello's tranquil hills is the chance to visit the oldest villa garden. Francis Reid, a Scottish botanist, revived Villa Rufolo which was built in 13th century by the same merchants. The garden's moorish arcades and Moorish cloisters, as well as its tower covered in ivy, are believed to have inspired Wagner's famous parsifal opera Klingsor. In the summer, classical concerts are held at the villa.

Swim at Marina di Praia

This small cove is enclosed and protected by cliffs. It has a pebbly beach which is great for sunbathing, swimming, and sampling the local seafood. However, it can be very busy on weekends and in high season. Donna Clelia is one of the many shoreline restaurants. La Gavitella is a private beach club that is only accessible via a steep path or a shuttle boat if you feel luxurious.

All kinds of lemon products available

The Amalfi Coast is famous for its two lemon varieties, the Sfusato Amalfitano (or Femminiello Sorrentino), which are found on small, fragrant gardens and undulating terraces all around the region. They can be enjoyed in many ways, including squeezing over a fried seafood frittura, or infusing into desserts.

Take a look at the pastel houses on Positano's mountain side.

Positano's pastel-hued villas, pastel-hued homes, and sprawling hotels are a stunning sight, perched high on hillsides overlooking beaches of Spiaggia Grandi and Fornillo. This vibrant town is the Amalfi Coast’s most iconic - it boasts flower-covered trattorias and sunbleached Terracotta houses, as well as steep, stepped alleyways. Positano is home to chic restaurants and fashion boutiques, but the best thing about Positano is its sweet charm and breathtaking views.

Walk with the Gods

Shepherds and walkers are high above the chic Amalfi Coast towns and umbrella-strewn beaches. They follow the old paths and mule trails that have connected communities for millennia through the limestone mountains. The Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of the Gods, is the most famous of these trails. From Bomerano to Praiano, the classic route takes you through wild Mediterranean hillsides and scrubland to Nocelle. The Colle Serra pass rises to 580m (1.902ft) above sea level.

Enjoy fresh seafood at Cetara

Positano is more popular than Cetara, but the hillside town of Cetara has a similar number of Instagram followers. However, its colorful cascade of houses that drop into the sea are just as captivating. The camera aside, Cetara is worth visiting for its charming fishing-village charm, as well as the delicious seafood. A pebbly beach with a towering Saracen defense is a popular spot for bathing. It is also where the locals have traditionally prepared colatura, an extremely fishy anchovy sauce that is based on the ancient Roman garum recipe. To enjoy spaghetti alla colatura or other seafood dishes, book a table in a seafront restaurant like Acquapazza and Al Convento.

Visit the Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea, Amalfi

This cathedral of Byzantine origin is dedicated to Saint Andrew, an apostle who died in 9th-century. It also has a maritime history that is intertwined. From the bustling piazza, climb the grand central staircase to reach a columned porch with colossal bronze doors. Then, linger in the Cloister of Paradise from 13th century, which is enclosed by interlaced Arabic arches. The Chapel of the Crucifix is the oldest and most intact portion of the complex. It leads to the crypt that houses the relics of Saint Andrew, the Catholic apostle. This skull was taken by crusaders from Constantinople in 1208.

For women's health, tips for heart, mind, and body - https://www.mpolska24.pl/blog/for-womens-health-tips-for-heart-mind-and-body

If you want to avoid problems such as strokes and heart disease, there is an easy way.

Get more fruits and vegetables.

Whole grains are better than refined ones. Brown rice is better than white. Switch to whole-wheat pasta

Consider lean proteins such as poultry, fish and beans.

Reduce your intake of processed foods, sugar, salt, saturated fat, and other unhealthy food.

Flexibility is key to eating well, according to Joyce Meng, MD assistant professor at UConn Health's Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center. You can follow a strict diet plan if you prefer. It's okay if you don't like following a strict diet plan.

Tricia Montgomery (52), founder of K9 Fit Club knows firsthand the benefits of a healthy diet and lifestyle. Her favorite things are eating healthy food and making small, frequent meals. She says, "I don’t deny myself anything." "I still enjoy dessert, key lime pie, yum!" -- I love frozen gummy bears and moderation is the key.

Get regular checkups. Your doctor will keep track of your medical history so that you can stay healthy. If you are at high risk of osteoporosis (a condition that weakens bones), your doctor may recommend more vitamin D and calcium.

You may be recommended by your doctor to have screening tests done to monitor your health and detect conditions before they become serious.

Be open to communication. Meng said, "If you have any questions, ask your doctor." "Ensure you are satisfied with the information." Talk to your doctor if you have concerns about any medication or procedure.

Reduce Stress

It can be very detrimental to your health. It is impossible to avoid it all, but there are ways you can reduce the effects. Do not take on too many responsibilities. Set limits for yourself and others. It is okay to say no.

To relieve stress, try:

Deep breathing

Meditation

Yoga

Massage

Exercise

Healthy eating

Talking to a friend or family member.

Develop healthy habits

You can prevent problems from coming your way tomorrow if you make the right decisions today.

Brush your teeth twice daily and floss each day.

Don't smoke.

Limit your alcohol. Limit your alcohol intake to 1 drink per day.

Take your medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Get better sleep. Try to sleep for at least 8 hours. Talk to your doctor if you are having trouble sleeping.

Keep out of direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Wear your seatbelt.

Meng suggests that you take time each day to invest in your own health.

Montgomery was able to see the benefits. Montgomery says that she has overcome health issues, is happy, and has a positive outlook. She says that her life has been forever transformed.
