Auto-Record Meetings

How many times have your notes fallen behind and you regretted not recording the meeting? This won't happen with Teams. Switch the Record Automatically toggle in Meeting Options to Yes before the meeting starts.

Teams will automatically record the meeting once it starts. The video will be available in Microsoft Stream and the chat after the meeting. This setting must be enabled and activated by your IT administrator. Microsoft is also changing the retention parameters of recorded meetings. We will keep you informed by our newsletter when this happens!

Download Meeting Transcriptions

Although meeting notes are very helpful for everyone, it can be tedious to take them. Microsoft Teams makes it easy to do this. After your recording is complete, click the ellipsis to open your video in Microsoft Stream.

Click on Update Video Details to open the next ellipsis. Click on the Video Language section and click Autogenerate caption files. After the process is completed, you can download a transcription from the Microsoft Stream section.

Automatically adjust the Mic Sensitivity

This new feature is extremely useful! You can adjust your mic sensitivity by selecting Settings > Devices, and then turning on Automatically Adjust Mic Sensitivity.

Accessing many cool features in Teams requires access to a Channel. This is a place where teams can share files, tools and messages. It's very easy to set up. If your company doesn't have a channel, you can create one by going to Team in Teams. Click the ellipses in the right to add a channel.

Chats can be made searchable on your channel

Not only can you save chats to your Channel, but Teams also makes it simple for chats to be tagged with more searchable, memorable titles. This allows users to quickly find their way back to them if necessary. You can enable searchability by selecting the pencil at the top of the member names and typing a title that is related to the chat content and including a word/phrase that will help you locate it again.

Email forwarding to a channel

Microsoft makes it easy to send an email to any Microsoft Teams Channel that you choose.

Click on the Get Email Address button next to the Channel name. This will create an email address that you can use to send anything directly. This is a great way to make it more accessible.

Reduce Stress

It can be very detrimental to your health. It is impossible to avoid it all, but there are ways you can reduce the effects. Do not take on too many responsibilities. Set limits for yourself and others. It is okay to say no.


To relieve stress, try:


Deep breathing

Meditation

Yoga

Massage

Exercise

Healthy eating

Talking to a friend or family member.

Develop healthy habits

You can prevent problems from coming your way tomorrow if you make the right decisions today.


Brush your teeth twice daily and floss each day.

Don't smoke.

Limit your alcohol. Limit your alcohol intake to 1 drink per day.

Take your medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Get better sleep. Try to sleep for at least 8 hours. Talk to your doctor if you are having trouble sleeping.

Keep out of direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Wear your seatbelt.

Meng suggests that you take time each day to invest in your own health.


Montgomery was able to see the benefits. Montgomery says that she has overcome health issues, is happy, and has a positive outlook. She says that her life has been forever transformed.
